What your score means:

0–20: Strong foundation (with hidden blind spots)

You’re running a relatively tight operation. Most things feel under control, and issues aren’t constantly surfacing. What’s easy to miss at this stage is that a lot of your clarity may still live in your head—or in scattered places across your systems. That works… until the practice grows, something shifts, or you need to make faster decisions. Practices here often benefit from making their performance more visible and consistent, so they can scale without relying on instinct or staying personally in the weeds.

21–40: Some friction beneath the surface

You’re running into issues that are probably manageable day-to-day, but they’re starting to compound. You may find yourself relying on instinct or patchwork systems to stay on top of things. This is typically where things start to feel harder than they should be—not because the practice is broken, but because it’s harder to see clearly what’s happening across it. Having centralized visibility often creates quick wins and reduces a lot of unnecessary friction.

41–70: Operational strain

At this level, multiple areas of the practice are likely pulling your attention at once. It may feel difficult to pinpoint what’s actually driving performance vs. what just feels urgent. Most practices here don’t have a single source of truth, which makes it hard to prioritize, hold accountability, or confidently make decisions. Bringing structure and visibility into the business typically unlocks both clarity and immediate operational improvements.

71–100: Constant firefighting

You’re likely spending a lot of time reacting rather than leading. Key questions about performance, retention, and clinician productivity probably don’t have clear answers—and that uncertainty creates stress across the entire practice. At this stage, it’s not about working harder—it’s about having a reliable way to see and manage what’s happening in real time so you can regain control.

101–120: High risk of burnout (and missed growth)

The practice is likely carrying significant hidden inefficiencies—clients slipping through the cracks, inconsistent processes, and unclear performance drivers. Without consistent visibility, it becomes nearly impossible to stabilize or scale. The biggest shift here comes from establishing a clear, reliable way to track, understand, and act on what’s happening across the practice—so decisions aren’t reactive or rooted in guesswork.
